Rail Vegetation Works

TreeServe has a proven track record in delivering quality outcomes within tight time frames and budgets on rail.
In our experience Rail vegetation works generally need a large amount of specialised equipment and trained staff to complete a lot of work in a short but intense timeframe (mostly weekend possessions) with the ability to work in with and around many other contractors/work crews onsite.

The Rail environment presents many challenges including:

• High voltage, low overhead powerlines
  Electrical and mechanical infrastructure hazards
  Rough terrain
  Difficult access
  Existing critical infrastructure
  Close proximity to residential

TreeServe can meet the challenges with over 30 full time, RISI (Rail Industry Safety Inducted) ticketed, trained arborists on staff and a fleet of specialised equipment that suits this work.

We are highly mechanised and have a wide range of highly specialised vegetation control equipment including:

• 23 x wood chippers (12” to 20” capacity)
  22 x tippers (4 tonne to 15 tonne capacity)
  22 x EWP’s (12m to 18m – electrically insulated – 1 or 2 man buckets)
  8 x excavators (1.8 tonne to 20 tonne) with grabs, mower/mulcher heads, stick rake, buckets, etc
  8 x stump grinders (35hp to 110hp)
  3 x mini loaders
  4 x crane trucks (10 tonne lift capacity)
